BakeryApp is an app designed for all age group, so that they can easily place an order and track their delivery.
Problem Statement
Students/Working professional finds it difficult to track their order.
Goal
To design an App “BakeryApp” that will allow users to easily track their delivery.
My Role
UX designer designing “BakeryApp” from inception to delivery.
Responsibilities
Conducting interviews, Making paper and digital wireframes, Lo-fi and Hi-fi prototyping, Conducting usability studies, checking for accessibility and making revisions to designs based on feedback.
User Research - Summary
I conducted Interviews and created persona, user stories, empathy map, user journey map to understand for the users I am designing for and their needs. Two primary user group were identified, students who need lunch during their college time and working professionals who need to enjoy hassle free food with their family .
Initial Research in Student user group revealed that they want in time delivery with some offers and discount to follow in their next order, while the working professional wanted image heavy menu with some method to track their food, both the group needed assertive technology (reader, language translator)
User Research - Pain Points
Low Fidelity Prototype
The low-fidelity prototype connected the primary user flow for placing an order and tracking the delivery, hence to be used in usability study with users.
I conducted two rounds of usability studies, round 1st helped in creating wireframes to initial mockups, round 2nd used high fidelity prototype to refine the mockups as per users pain point.
